People who judge wrestling talent are not doing it by wins & losses. If one did that it would be pointless for obvious reasons.

When someone says wrestler x is pound for pound one of the best ever, they are basing it on factors such as:

Being able to tell a great story in the ring via match psychology

Being able to carry their opponent through a match

Taking care of their opponent & their own body in a safe manner

etc......

Not just any wrestler could have a great match with just about anyone. Many tend to do their best with a certain stock. However there are your small % of guys who could have a 5 star match with anyone regardless of size, talent/lack thereof, etc.... & Benoit happened to be in that small % of guys who could.

Im saying if you can judge an actor by the way he plays a role is the same way you can judge a wrestler by the way he does the things you have mentioned.

A movie's result is predetermined the same way a match is but its what the pesron does in those 2 hours that makes them Pacino or Sandler....

Yes, he is still wrestling. Currently he is out with an injury that ended his title reign prematurely. He wrestles with a much reduced schedule the last few years compared to most.
